Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient comfort.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
• Perform X-Ray imaging as needed for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Document medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant patient information accurately.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Support all patients with a friendly approach to ensure their comfort during visits.
• Collaborate with the dental receptionist to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience working in a dental office.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control practices is essential.
• Familiarity with dexis imaging techniques and equipment is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages.
• Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is a plus.

Pay: $45,992.49 - $48,000.00 per year
