The Warehouse and Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective movement of goods, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires a combination of planning, problem solving, organizational skills, and physical labor. This is a part time role with variable hours each week, based on need.

About The Role
The Warehouse and Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective movement of goods, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires a combination of planning, problem solving, organizational skills, and physical labor. This is a part time role with variable hours each week, based on need.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain vehicles, equipment and tools
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Organize warehouse space
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid chauffer’s license (or be able to acquire within 30 days of hire)
- Warehousing experience
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices, methods, and knowledge of warehouse data system
- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to pull a trailer
- Team player with organizational skills
