Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Bradenton, FL
Job Type: Full-time, In-office with one remote day per week (if necessary)
We are seeking a highly qualified Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and strategy for a growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in private accounting for organizations exceeding $50 million in revenue annually, including significant leadership experience as a CFO. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving strategic decision-making.
Location:
This position is based in our Bradenton office with one remote day per week allowed if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including financial planning, reporting, analysis, and strategy.
- Develop and manage budgeting processes, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business objectives.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial performance.
- Lead the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial statements, compliance, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support ongoing business operations.
- Oversee financial risk management and provide insights into opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in private accounting, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior financial leadership role.
- Experience in managing financial operations for a company with a minimum annual revenue of $50 million.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a finance team.
- Excellent communication skills to the CEO and Board of Directors, with the ability to present complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proven track record of driving financial performance and strategic growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the retail industry or company size.
- Familiarity with Intacct accounting software and Bill.com a plus
- Fluent with Excel and Data Analytics
