Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid.
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior-Level Credit Research Analyst to join our dynamic Fixed Income Team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of investment grade credit products, proven portfolio management expertise, and the strategic insight necessary to navigate complex market environments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough credit analysis of fixed income securities, including investment grade corporate bonds and other non-corporate investment grade credit instruments.
- Use quantitative and qualitative methods to improve security selection in the credit portfolio and to help the team determine the overall attractiveness of corporate bonds vs. other investment grade asset classes
- Monitor and evaluate credit risk, market trends, and economic factors affecting fixed income investments.
- Help to develop and execute investment strategies for client portfolios, focusing on asset selection, risk management, and return maximization while ensuring compliance with investment policies, regulations, and client objectives.
- Work closely with the Senior Credit Portfolio Manager to assess risk, evaluate potential investments, and determine opportunities in both over and undervalued securities vs. their perceived credit risk
- Develop relationships with broker-dealers, banks, and counterparties, to source investment opportunities and gain insights into market conditions.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss investment strategies and performance (some travel required).
- Collaborate with other analysts and team members to support investment decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and market conditions.
- Influence the use of new technologies to facilitate portfolio management processes
- Attend industry conferences, webinars, and meetings to remain up-to-date on economic trends, interest rate analysis and new investment opportunities.
- Provide timely written commentary on developments/outlook for the aforementioned credit markets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in fixed income analysis, preferably with a focus on credit
- BS/BA degree required, Master of Business Administration preferred
- CFA highly recommended
- Experience working with Charles River Development software helpful
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Bloomberg Experience strongly preferred
- SQL and Python experience is preferred
- Electronic Trading Experience (Market Axess, Bloomberg, Tradeweb) preferred
- Charles River OMS familiarity helpful
