About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Consultant to join a high-impact team driving strategic initiatives in technology and compliance. This role is ideal for a professional with deep expertise in IT security, compliance, and risk management who thrives on improving organizational governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory alignment, and implementing best-in-class technology solutions.
This is a hybrid opportunity requiring collaboration with key stakeholders onsite several days a week to ensure impactful integration of governance processes and policies across the organization.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing governance frameworks that drive accountability, enhance decision-making, and align with strategic objectives.
- Conducting thorough gap analyses to identify opportunities for improving policies, procedures, and controls to meet evolving industry standards and regulations.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including policies, standards, process narratives, and control mechanisms, to ensure consistency and clarity across the organization.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess compliance risks and integrate effective measures for regulatory adherence.
- Enhancing organizational readiness by communicating regulatory changes, implementing required adjustments, and supporting certifications for industry standards.
- Managing policy governance, including overseeing change requests and ensuring seamless communication of updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Conducting periodic reviews of policies and standards to ensure alignment with changing regulatory, business, and technological landscapes.
- Leveraging expertise in frameworks such as COBIT, FFIEC, and NIST to strengthen the organization's GRC maturity and improve risk management practices.
- Building strong partnerships with teams across technology, compliance, and business units to embed governance practices seamlessly.
