Brokerage Sales Representative
Our client is seeking a results-driven Brokerage Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in logistics sales, a proactive approach to client acquisition, and the ability to self manage effectively.
Job Type: Full-time/Work from home
Responsibilities
- Identify and create new sales opportunities.
- Proactively search for and engage new clients.
- Present opportunities to quote and bid on potential business.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct cold calls and participate in in-person client meetings.
- Travel as necessary for client engagements, trade shows, and conferences.
- Reports directly to the CEO and Sales Manager.
- 3-5 years of experience in the logistics industry, preferably with a small to mid-sized broker.
- Experience with CRM, phone systems, TMS, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to cold call and convert leads into clients.
- Ability to attend in-person meetings, travel, and represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
- Strong communication, organizational, and self-management skills.
- Existing client relationships or a customer base that can be brought on board is a plus.
