Responsibilities
- Prospect new customers with an ambitious mentality via email, phone, and networking, selling our client’s services as a third-party logistics provider.
- Establish lasting relationships with these customers to build and maintain a strong book of business.
- Frequent phone calls and email interaction with industry professionals to grow the network and increase earning potential.
- Follow and research industry and market trends to maintain well-informed interactions with clients.
- Work with other departments to ensure seamless completion of the shipping process for your customers.
- Manage customer interaction with continued support, customer service, and troubleshooting.
- Set and review goals with management, working to reach and surpass those goals.
- 1-2 years of prior experience in the 3PL Customer Sales and / or Business Development role.
- Passion for sales and a drive to succeed.
- Should be considered a high-energy, self-motivated, ambitious team player that wants to control their own income.
- Advanced ability to multi-task.
- Strong ability to negotiate, motivate, persuade, and influence others.
- Enthusiastic, persistent, and confident approach.
