Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join their
growing team.

Responsibilities
- Work with customers to ensure that all operations work smoothly, and that sufficient equipment is available in all locations.
- Assist with the tracking and verification that system records are correct.
- Work with vendors and terminal operators to ensure equipment is repaired in a timely manner and forecast any potential shortages.
- Interface with truckers and assist them in getting out as rapidly as possible to maintain high service standards.
- Perform physical inventories of equipment.
- Work with M&R supervisor to reduce invoices and keep equipment utilized.
- Verify fleet files are correct and report any changes to appropriate governing bodies.
- Organize trucking of repair equipment.
- Ensure the equipment tracking system is accurate and information is correct.
- Review gate activity for damaged equipment in depot systems and provide rebill information to accounting.
- Track all bookings and follow up with calls to discuss unused bookings.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- 3-5 years of experience in the steamship line, depot, terminal, trucking, or maintenance and repair industry.
- Proven work experience as an Operations Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness.
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting. Familiarity with business and financial principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Familiarity with intermodal equipment repair.
