Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a NetApp Administrator to provide support at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) in Portsmouth, Virginia.
How Your Role Will Make an Impact :
- Administers and supports daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers.
- Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
- Supports NetApp storage solutions across multiple clusters.
- Manages data shares (NFS and CIFS) across Linux and Windows hosts.
- Ensures successful operation of hardware and software systems required to support LAN and WAN operations.
- Installs new software releases, conducts system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software-related problems.
- Performs system backups and recovery.
- Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Gathers and analyzes statistical data related to networks, application, and storage.
- Hardens systems by STIGs.
- Designs, implements, and manages Storage Area Networks (SAN).
