Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities :
- Assist the Water and Wastewater Division by performing technical reviews and approval of time sensitive domestic wastewater collection and transmission systems, potable water and domestic wastewater treatment systems, FOG (Fats, Oils and Grease) control systems and OSTDS (On-site Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems) design plans, reports, assessments and other required submittals for private and public systems in Miami-Dade County.
- Responsible for performing professional engineering duties.
- Have a thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, regulations and rules concerning permitting, design and construction of water and wastewater systems.
- Expedited and regular reviews of public and private projects including affordable housing and other critical developments in Miami-Dade County.
