Job Summary :
As a Field Evaluation Representative, you will provide Field Evaluation Services (Special Inspection and US Field Evaluation) services to clients in any part of the world. You will work with clients from the application review stage to the point at which the product is labelled and beyond. You will manage projects and conduct on-site evaluations and testing of electrical / electronic products under Field Evaluation guidelines. This includes witness tests at factory locations.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities :
- Performs technical evaluations of non-certified equipment within their area of expertise. Ensures product meets technical requirements and is free of potential for fire and shock hazards.
- Technically competent to evaluate all products, including new and unique products, based on the scope of the Field Evaluation program with assistance of other technical staff as necessary.
- Communicates with clients in a professional manner to schedule inspection appointments, review costing procedures, answer questions, and provide technical information service.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on changes in codes, standards and other requirements.
- Responds to client needs in a timely, professional, helpful, and courteous manner.
- Documents with sufficient detail, technical reports for required alterations to sub-standard equipment.
- Preparing written reports and documentation of inspection findings, including corrective actions.
- Follows working instructions, JSA requirements or safe working procedures.
- Wears the correct PPE and informs colleagues to ensure they are wearing proper PPE.
- Completes all assigned HSSE training and courses and understands the content and applicability to role.
Preferred Education & Experience :
The typical hiring range for this position is $86, 000 - $114,00; however, based on a variety of considerations (such as education, licenses, certifications and / or, experience,) CSA Group reserves the right to flexibility outside of the stated range.
