Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Calculating the cost of a construction project, including materials, labor, equipment, and transportation.
- Gathering information about the project, including blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Working with the project team to create accurate estimates.
- Conducting risk assessments and planning for delays or setbacks.
- Monitoring construction processes to ensure costs stay on track.
- Staying up to date with safety codes and construction improvements.
- Oversee construction management, budget estimation, scheduling, de-sign, and scope development.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Able to be onsite 5 days a week in Brooklyn, NY.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- 10 years of experience in construction estimating with capital programs and public agencies.
- OSHA-30 certification required.
- Superior oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.

Salary : $60 - $65
