Job Description
As a caregiver or home health aide with CSA Homecare, you will be responsible for providing personal care assistance to elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents. This may include attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, bowel and bladder care, dressing, and eating. You will also assist clients with ambulation and help with mobility around the house or outside, plan and prepare small meals, and report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and be able to act in a compassionate and supportive manner. Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment is highly desirable. Willingness to enforce health and safety standards and take pride in providing high-quality care are essential.
