JOB DESCRIPTION:
CSC is a heavy civil contractor, and we are seeking a Superintendent/ Quality Control Manager (QCM) for a road construction project in the Shelbyville area.
Super/QCM will work under the direction of the Project Manager and will be responsible for the quality control of all work performed, ensuring all QC controls are in place and being adhered to.
The position:
- Supervises the attendance of personnel and subcontractors
- Completion of project records and daily logs
- All testing activities
- Delivery of materials
- Execution of project documentation
- Quantify work performed by field crews and subcontractors.
- Construction oversight, scheduling, and assistance in all project-related matters.
This also includes but is not limited to; supporting the project manager as needed or required in all duties related to the project. Invoice analysis, submittals, traffic control plans, and schedules. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, creating the necessary spreadsheets required to stay organized, assisting in estimating, and any other duties essential or required.
Requirements:
At least 2 years’ Federal and/or DOT experience with road construction is required. OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30-hour Certification preferred. Valid Driver’s License.
