Position Overview:
The Counter Salesman at CSC of Santa Maria plays a key role in ensuring excellent service to our customers. This individual will handle customer inquiries, provide solutions to their concerns, and deliver exceptional service while maintaining a positive and professional relationship with each client. At CSC of Santa Maria, we specialize in providing high-quality industrial hose products and hydraulic equipment repairs. We offer a wide range of hoses, fittings, and accessories for various industries, ensuring our customers have the right solutions for their needs. In addition to our retail offerings, we also provide expert hydraulic equipment repair services, helping to keep machinery and equipment running smoothly. Our team is dedicated to delivering reliable products and exceptional service to support businesses in maintaining their operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Provide product and service information to customers, helping them make informed decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges in a timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures to answer customer questions accurately.
- Collaborate with other departments to address complex issues and provide comprehensive solutions.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on customer service best practices.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming service environment for customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Process transactions, handle paperwork, and manage scheduling.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Stay updated on company policies, products, and services to best assist customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college experience preferred).
- Previous customer service experience a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a variety of duties.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
