Assistant Manager, Private Equity Fund Accounting
Hybrid- Wilmington, DE
Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Candidates for this position must be eligible to work without sponsorship in the United States. Time on-site or time zone may be necessary based on business need.
Some of the things you will be doing:
The Assistant Manager candidate will manage multiple client relationships ensuring superior client service with their client service team members.
Deliverables include fund administration services provided to private equity funds such as:
- Review waterfall calculations, capital call & distributions calculations, etc.
- Coordinate deliverables with client and internal teams, ensure deadlines are met
- Daily client and team member interaction
- Supervise a team, handle training and career development
- Ensure that best practices are used by fund accounting team and look for process improvements
- Review capital call & distribution calculations and letters
- Review waterfalls and partner capital account statements
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- BS Degree in Accounting required - CPA or CPA candidate a plus
- Experience in portfolio/investment (Private Equity) and partnership accounting is required
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges)
- Investran experience a plus
- Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines
- Experience training and supervising staff
- Experience managing client relationships
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
