CSC is looking for a talented RFP/Proposal Director to join our in-house Sales Operations & Enablement team and support all of our global regions. As a RFP/Proposal Director you will be responsible for managing the intake, completion, and submission of RFPs/RFIs/RFQs/custom proposals for CSC DBS’s various prospects and clients. Someone who is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has experience proposals of all kinds is best suited for this position. Daily Job Functions
- Manage incoming RFP projects from start to finish, including opening the project, developing the timeline, handling non-disclosure agreements, coordinating assignments with internal and external team members, setting up phone calls/follow-ups, working with translation companies, etc.
- Maintain a current library of RFP responses and frequently asked questions.
- Develop and work with a network of in-house resources across all regions and job-functions to answer product-specific RFP questions.
- Package, execute, and deliver final RFPs based on client specifications.
- Connect with management across the company to approve RFP content.
- Interact with our Qvidian RFP management platform.
- Collaborate on enhancements and process improvements to our current format and content.
- Ensure all responses are timely and accurate; all deadlines met.
- Perform market and client intelligence research.
- Maintain competitor intelligence and work with leadership to cascade to our commercial teams.
- Track RFP results via SalesForce and compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Ad-hoc duties as needed, including basic due diligence requests
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working within deadlines
- The ability to work independently and function as part of a team
- Strong time-management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience working with Qvidian, or similar RFP software, is a plus
- Ambitious and easy to work with
- Assertive and able to communicate urgency when necessary
- Attention to detail
- Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office suite
