What are the responsibilities and job description for the Glass Drafting Manager position at CSG Talent?
CSG are currently partnered with a leading Glazing Sub-Contractor who are currently looking to add an experienced Engineering/Drafting Manager to their team. They are looking for employees that not only possess the skills and abilities to be a project engineer, but also a passion for growth and innovation!
Principal responsibilities:
- review and comment on all shop drawings, revisions, material takeoffs, glass releases and fabrication packages
- attend meetings for project and fabrication turnover, and CAD kickoff
- work on shop drawings for projects
- attend BIM coordination meeting (as needed)
Skills required:
- proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam, Inventor is a plus
- Knowledge of systems and materials used in the glazing industry
- knowledge of software and tech equipment used in construction
- adept with problem analysis and solving
- consistent ability to exercise good judgement and make good decision
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
