What are the responsibilities and job description for the Glazing Engineering and Drafting Lead position at CSG Talent?
CSG Talent is working with a leading glazing sub-contractor to find an experienced engineering/drafting manager to support their team.
We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can bring their technical expertise and passion for innovation to this role.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide input on shop drawings, revisions, material takeoffs, glass releases, and fabrication packages.
- Attend project and fabrication turnover meetings, and CAD kickoff events.
- Develop and refine shop drawings for various projects.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings as necessary.
Key Requirements:
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam. Knowledge of Inventor is beneficial.
- Extensive knowledge of glazing industry systems and materials.
- Familiarity with software and technology used in construction projects.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to make informed decisions and exercise good judgment.
