Senior Estimator - Heavy Civil / Heavy Highway
Location : Draper, Utah
At CSG Talent, we have partnered with a leading construction firm to find an experienced Senior Estimator specializing in heavy civil and heavy highway projects. This role requires a hands-on professional with field experience, capable of performing bottom-up estimating rather than consulting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in BID2WIN software and a strong background in self-performing heavy civil work.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform bottom-up estimating, leveraging firsthand field experience to create accurate cost projections.
- Review project specifications, plans, and Geotech reports, conduct site visits, and attend pre-bid meetings.
- Develop bid packages, solicit subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance with DBE / SBE requirements.
- Utilize BID2WIN (most critical), AGTEK, OST, P6, and Excel to perform take-offs, build estimates, and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Collaborate with project managers and the Chief Estimator to finalize and submit competitive bids.
