The firm are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent based in San Antonio, Texas to oversee and manage construction projects related to heavy civil works. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising large-scale civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Heavy Civil Superintendent will lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and provide effective leadership for the entire construction team while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of heavy civil construction projects, including highways, bridges, utilities, earthworks, and other infrastructure.
- Ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all crew members.
- Manage and supervise construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring that work is being completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
