What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Agronomist - Indiana, Ohio, Dakota position at CSG Talent?

I am supporting my client with expansion plans, and these include a Midwestern state based Technical agronomist.
This key role will support the sales team, as you will bring your technical knowledge and build on this with my clients product range. and learn how they are best used in the field to increase results. Experience in working in row crops such a soy beans a must.
Trials, product research, and reporting are a key part of this role - you'll be managing and overseeing the execution of trails in various settings across the MW states, and ensure correct data collection, analysis and reports.
The successful person will also be involved in
- competitive intelligence, tracking similar products in the space and feeding this back to sales team
- customer and field support, visiting the clients and research sites
- travel and engagement within the community
- using market research to identify key products and industry trends
-ensure the CRM data is correct to lead onto prospecting accurately
- really be a customer facing person, to give their all to the candidates and internal teams
Please note - you must be already based in the Midwestern states - Nebraska, Indiana,, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Michigan, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Winconsin.and with an existing network in place - anyone who doesn't meet this requirement will not be considered this time .
If you are in the Midwest, have over 5 years experience in agronomy and crop protection, and you've got strong experience in biological and agronomic products, and a knowledge of the agricultural biological landscape, please submit a resume for consideration and further details.
