A leading global provider of conveyor solutions is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to oversee sales and business development efforts across Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and delivering technical solutions to clients in the mining, aggregates, and industrial sectors.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Ontario region, targeting new business and managing existing accounts.
- Drive revenue growth through a combination of direct sales, distributor management, and customer relationship building.
- Provide technical expertise and product recommendations tailored to customers' needs in the mining, aggregate, and bulk material handling industries.
- Conduct product demonstrations, on-site visits, and training sessions to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal product usage.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer support.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to track performance and achieve sales targets.
- Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues to maintain strong client relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in territory sales, with a strong background in industrial equipment, mining, or related sectors.
- Technical knowledge of conveyor systems, bulk material handling, or similar products is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage and grow accounts, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel within Ontario for customer meetings, site visits, and trade shows.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
