Role Summary : The Vice President of Construction will be responsible for guiding project execution, removing roadblocks, improving communication, and ensuring efficient processes. Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely with regional leadership and recruitment teams to support the rapid growth of the construction department.
- Manage and refine budget processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial planning and reporting.
- Oversee project owner budgets, ensuring timely updates and completion tracking.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism across all projects.
- Provide strategic direction to general contractors, vendors, and trade partners.
- Supervise design, permitting, and entitlement processes to optimize efficiency.
- Review and negotiate construction schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Lead the general contractor selection process, including RFPs, bid reviews, and leadership presentations.
- Handle contract negotiations and administration in coordination with legal teams.
- Prepare and present reports and analyses for senior leadership, stakeholders, and funding partners.
- Manage client relationships and represent the construction team in executive-level discussions.
- Mentor and develop project teams, fostering collaboration and a high-morale work environment.
