Model Based Systems Engineer - Digital Twin

CSG have partnered with an exciting UAV startup supporting their search for mid to senior level Aerospace Simulation Engineer. The organisation is on a very exciting trajectory preparing for their next Series of investment. This role would be developing a Twin Model simulation of their UAV to support the design & build model.

Role And Responsibilities

• Works on a model-based approach to developing a true digital twin simulation of the aircraft using Matlab and Simulink.
• Pioneer modeling, simulation and analysis for the business including GNC Modelling, Controls, Mechanical Modeling, Design and Build modeling.
• Ties 'digital thread' between different aerospace models listed above.
• Uses the digital twin to support V&V of different aircraft subsystems and support aircraft and flight performance.
• Develops model & simulation algorithms in C and Python.
• Creates 3D models of the twin aircraft.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  
  

Experience Required

• Proficient in Matlab and Simulink.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Masters in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Experienced with CAD (Catia / NX)
• Experienced with C and Python.
• Active SC clearance preferred, eligibility is mandatory.
