Are you a Project Engineer with experience in food manufacturing ? My client, a leading food production company, is looking for a skilled Project Engineer to lead capital projects and support plant engineering initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects that drive company growth and innovation in the food industry.
What You'll Do :
Lead capital project execution, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and food industry regulations
Develop and manage project teams, including internal stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and regulatory personnel
Oversee the selection of capital equipment, vendor negotiations, and contractor management
Provide technical expertise in electrical controls (PLC programming, Servos, VFDs, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases and executive summaries for key projects
Investigate and implement new technologies to improve capability, capacity, and profitability
Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Plans , customer requirements, and plant production processes
What You Need to Succeed :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Food manufacturing experience required
Experience in capital projects and project management
Strong background in electrical controls (PLCs, Servos, VFDs, etc.)
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role
