What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Support / Customer Service Rep position at CSI Brand?
APPLICANTS MUST RESIDE IN OAHU, HAWAII. THIS IS AN ON-SITE JOB, Mon - Fri, Full-time non-exempt position
Our Administrative Support /Customer Service Representative will join the dynamic CSR team working closely with HEC Sales persons, schedule site inspections, pull HECO installation permits, contact Home Owners Associations, and assist with pre-installation administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Telephone etiquette to professionally interact with internal and external clients
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and considerate attitude
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries, bill questions, and schedule field repairs
- Trouble shoot connection issues when systems are offline, walk through re-set processes, and vendor product issues
- Operate a personal computer and business software applications; MacOS preferable
- Work closely with the HEC Sales team and Customer Support Techs to ensure quality customer care
- Submit warranty claims with Manufacturers, RMA's, and open, close and invoice for service cases
- Open support tickets for Support Technicians and schedule appointments
- Resolve issues, provide accurate information, or explain the process
- Ensure maximum customer respect and attention to quality service
- Perform additional assignments and special projects to meet company goals

- Fluent oral and written English communication skills with ability to read with understanding
- Strong attention to detail, communication and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the phone
- Ability to always remain respectful and professional
- Strong ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities at once
- Operating knowledge of personal computers, MacOS is preferrable
- Strong ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere
- Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, be reliable, punctual, and willing to contribute to a positive work culture
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Sitting for extended periods of time in an air-conditioned office
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
- Ability to occasionally lift to 30 pounds
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 18 years old of age
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing throughout employment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of customer service experience
- General knowledge of solar installation and services
- Experience working with HECO, Dept. of Planning & Permitting, Home Owners Associations, and pulling permits
