Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Benefits Coordinator to join our client’s team in El Paso, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting data related to employee benefits and group insurance programs. You will work closely with employees and dependents, providing expert guidance and addressing their inquiries about company insurance programs. This position that requires a solid understanding of benefits, company policies, and administrative procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Examine, assess, and combine data to provide accurate and timely information regarding benefits and group insurance programs.
- Identify areas for potential improvements or adjustments in program design and administrative processes.
- Record employee enrollment in benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Explain and interpret complex aspects of company insurance programs to employees and their dependents.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues related to employee benefits and insurance options.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of benefits programs, company policies, and administrative procedures to support employees with complex benefit-related needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, benefits, and regulatory changes to ensure accurate guidance is provided.
- Assist in the annual benefits enrollment process, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient processing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of employee benefits and insurance programs (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.)
- Ability to interpret and explain complex benefits information to non-experts
- Proficiency in data management and enrollment processing
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of company policies and administrative procedures related to benefits
