Job Summary
The Identity Management Administrator (IMA) is responsible for supporting the end user's access and confidentiality of information and systems involving the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of EMR security provisioning and its inner workings, with a focus on ensuring proper access controls for various systems and applications. The IMA will handle requests and inquiries related to system and application access for associates, non-associates, student interns, and other clients.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage and process access requests for various healthcare systems and applications, including but not limited to Meditech, Pyxis, Tap-N-Go, Patient Safe, PACS, Active Directory, and others.
- Ensure security and confidentiality of healthcare information by adhering to industry standards and regulations, including HIPAA and PCI-DSS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user access issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the provisioning, modification, and deactivation of system and application access for employees, contractors, and other clients.
- Work closely with IT teams and security officers to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations regarding access and data security.
- Support audits and maintain documentation of user access and provisioning activities.
- Provide training and guidance on access-related issues as needed.
- Stay current with trends and changes in the identity management and healthcare IT landscape.
