Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Meditech Expanse Revenue Cycle Specialist with at least 3 years of experience in building and enhancing Meditech Expanse applications within the revenue cycle. This position involves advising and recommending technical changes within the Meditech system to optimize performance, ensuring seamless communication between departments, and providing expertise in payer processing rules.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of Meditech Expanse applications within the revenue cycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are working seamlessly across the revenue cycle.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues to provide timely resolutions and continuous improvement.
- Advise and recommend technical changes and enhancements within Meditech to improve performance, efficiency, and user experience.
- Identify potential system improvements and lead initiatives to implement changes effectively.
- Develop and implement tasking communication protocols between the Central Business Office and ancillary departments, including Registration, Scheduling, HIM (Health Information Management), UM (Utilization Management), and Clinic Leaders.
- Foster efficient workflows and communication to ensure timely and accurate processing of patient data and revenue cycle tasks.
- Update and maintain CARC (Claim Adjustment Reason Codes) and RARC (Remittance Advice Remark Codes) code library mapping.
- Ensure all necessary codes are mapped correctly to facilitate accurate claims processing and reimbursement.
- Load and configure payer processing rules for the top 5 contracts to calculate expected reimbursement.
- Collaborate with payer relations and business leaders to ensure accurate reimbursement predictions based on contract terms.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams and users on Meditech Expanse applications, best practices, and system updates.
- Offer support in troubleshooting and resolving system issues related to the revenue cycle.
