Job Summary
The Remote Principal Data Analyst is primarily responsible for utilizing advanced analytics to make data-driven marketing decisions. This role is responsible for optimizing marketing performance, enhancing segmentation, predicting key behaviors, and collaborating with marketing, product, and data engineering teams to improve data accuracy and develop impactful predictive models.
Pay : $49 – 69 an hour based on experience (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate).
Hours : Full Time - Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (Flexible)

Job Duties :
Develop predictive and consumer segmentation models using demographic, psychographic, econometric, and statistical data to enable personalized marketing
Enhance existing consumer segmentation models by integrating third-party data and migrating them into a new environment
Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to optimize campaigns, apply customer segmentation, and implement personalization strategies
Partner with marketing stakeholders to optimize campaigns, apply customer segmentation insights, and drive data-informed personalization strategies
Conduct rigorous data analysis to extract meaningful insights that inform marketing, product development, and client relations strategies
Work with imperfect and complex data sets, applying statistical and rule-based approaches to clean, validate, and enhance data quality
Ensure the availability of enriched datasets to support campaign performance measurement, self-serve analytics, audience segmentation, and predictive modeling
Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies in marketing datasets, collaborating with data engineers to improve data reliability and accessibility
Identify and analyze trends in member behavior and engagement to support targeted marketing and business initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Ability to navigate messy and incomplete data to generate actionable insights
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Highly Preferred
Large corporation experience
Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience
Familiarity with data visualization tools
Proficiency in Python or R
Knowledge of ML frameworks & algorithms and implementation
