Locate Investigator

Job Description

The investigator should meet the necessary criteria established by the Pennsylvania Private Detective Act.

Investigative work will involve locating missing/runaway juveniles and families. This frequently entails in-person and telephone interviews with associates and relatives, online research, and court document research / review / analysis.

Preferred Skills/Experience

· Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality

· Self-starter who holds themselves accountable for results and performance.

· Prior law enforcement or human services experience preferred.(Minimum 2 Years Experience Preferred).

Requirements

· Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours and days including weekends

· Ability to work independently without specific instruction

· Valid state issued drivers license issued by state of residency

· Ability to follow and execute instructions and assignments

· Draft thorough and detailed investigative reports

· Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments

· Receive and communicate information

· Operate and access various computer programs

· Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies

· Effectively communicate investigative findings to clients and/or in any legal proceeding
