Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing civil and structural systems for solar and BESS energy facilities, as well as reviewing and revising commercial and utility plan sets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze civil and structural systems for solar and BESS energy facilities
- Review and revise commercial and utility plan sets
- Work closely with customers and other engineering and design team members to coordinate overall design packages and requirements
- Transition designs to the field to ensure successful construction and energization of projects
- Assist in the development and optimization of solar PV and BESS system design concepts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in civil/structural design and analysis for solar and BESS energy facilities
- Strong understanding of discipline-specific technical designs, engineering principles, business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements
- Ability to apply engineering theories and principles to review and evaluate civil/structural drawings
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD 2D, Blue Beam, L-pile, Google Earth, Risa, and other web-based software applications
