Technology and Estimating Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technology & Estimating Manager to oversee our company’s technology infrastructure while also contributing to project estimating. This unique role requires a balance of technical expertise and analytical skills to ensure our technology systems operate efficiently and to assist in producing accurate estimates for projects.

Key Responsibilities:Technology Management:

• Oversee and manage the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cybersecurity.
• Implement and maintain business technology solutions to improve efficiency and security.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
• Research and recommend new technologies to support business operations.
• Provide basic IT support and training to employees.

Estimating:

• Assist in performing takeoffs and creating estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to develop competitive proposals.
• Maintain an organized database of cost estimates and historical pricing for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Experience in IT management, system administration, or technical support.
• Familiarity with construction or manufacturing estimating is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software, Excel, and other business applications.
