Job Summary:
The Tax and Financial Services Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and tax advisory services to clients. This role involves analyzing clients' financial situations, developing strategies to meet their financial goals, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and maximizing tax efficiency. The advisor will work closely with clients to build long-term relationships based on trust, professionalism, and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Advisory:
- Assess clients' overall financial situation, including income, expenses, savings, investments, and retirement goals.
- Develop personalized financial plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
- Provide investment advice, retirement planning, and wealth management services.
- Monitor clients’ financial status and adjust plans as necessary.
- Tax Planning and Compliance:
- Advise clients on tax-related matters, including income tax, estate tax, capital gains tax, and other applicable taxes.
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure clients take advantage of tax deductions and credits.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice.
- Assist clients with tax audits and represent them before tax authorities if needed.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and personalized service.

- Research and Analysis:

- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFP, CFA) is preferred.
- Proven experience in tax preparation, financial planning, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of tax laws, financial regulations, and investment strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in financial planning software and tools.
