The primary responsibility of the Event Sales Assistant will be to identify and qualify prospects, conduct product presentations, and generate sales for a market-leading home improvement brand. The Event Sales Assistant will also concentrate on furthering the best practices in the areas of event sales, lead generation, retail operations, and other crucial business functions. Responsibilities of the Event Sales Assistant:
- Meet and communicate directly with prospective customers in a retail setting to provide support in correspondence with their wants and needs
- Provide an individualized and positive experience for all customers; this includes providing reasonable service, adequately answering questions, and processing sales orders
- Collaborate with the event and retail marketing team to create new promotional sales campaigns for our varied client portfolio
- Participate in classroom training sessions, product knowledge seminars, and virtual web seminars
- Educate retail customers on new home improvement services or promotions
- Further our client’s reputation by using top-notch customer service skills
Event Sales Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in marketing, promotions, sales, or account management preferred
- Comfortable taking on a leadership role and support role within a team (must work well with others)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in customer relationship management (preferred, not required)
- Experience in a management or leadership role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to providing great customer service

Pay: $3,482.86 - $4,555.70 per month
