The Role
As a Data Analyst at TradeTrax, you will play a critical role in transforming complex business, customer, and platform data into meaningful insights. Your work will directly enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making for both our customers and internal teams. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to provide advanced analytics and reporting across our integrated technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex datasets to extract insights and drive decision-making.
- Design, develop, and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Quicksight, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Analyze customer data (qualitative and quantitative) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain a repository of standardized and customized reporting templates.
- Effectively communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations) to align data projects with business goals.
- Develop, optimize, and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics to improve project forecasting.
- Implement forecasting techniques to enhance construction project timelines, reducing days under construction.
- Partner with internal technical teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and analytics infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in a data analytics role with strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines) or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience in data manipulation, statistical methods, and pattern identification.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI).
- Advanced Excel skills (including macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
- Proven experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and forecasting techniques.
- Experience working cross-functionally to align data initiatives with business objectives.
- Ability to perform independent data analysis and effectively communicate insights to drive company change.
- Hands-on experience with Data Lakes and Cloud Platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry in a data analytics role focused on resource optimization.
- Experience analyzing large, complex datasets in a multi-project environment.
- Strong ability to uncover insights through independent data analysis and effectively present findings to stakeholders.
