Job Description
CSI Recruiting is working with an established and financially robust oil & gas company in Fort Worth, assisting in their search for an experienced Asset Engineer to focus on the company's non-operated investment assets and wells. In this role, the Asset Engineer will be the primary liaison for communicating non-op well and project status across internal stakeholders, ensuring the seamless management of drilling, completion, and production activities.
The Asset Engineer will collaborate across the company's internal departments, including Accounting, A&D, Reserves, and Finance, to drive efficiency and improve the evaluation of future deals. Expertise in overseeing domestic, onshore oil & gas properties will be key in managing the company's non-op investments, coordinating acquisitions, and facilitating divestitures, all while ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
The client is seeking a strong background in domestic, onshore petroleum engineering, a proven track record of success in multi-disciplinary operational environments, and experience in data management. Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Communicate non-op well and project status to internal stakeholders
- Maintain a detailed database of non-op reports and manage timely revenue distribution
- Review and approve monthly non-op JIBs, facilitate AFE elections, and support asset evaluations
- Review daily drilling, completion, and production reports and communicate on performance
- Facilitate periodic lookbacks in cooperation with Corporate Reserves and Finance to ensure non-op development costs, production, revenues, and LOE forecasts reflect actual well costs and performance
- Coordinate with A&D to create non-op asset reviews, generating insights to improve future deal evaluations and assist in any non-op asset divestitures or evaluations
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact with non-op operators
