Job Description
CSI Recruiting is working with a privately held and financially sound upstream oil & gas company in their search for an experienced Division Order Analyst. This role will be part of the company's land team, working directly with the Manager of Land Administration and Vice President of Land.
Requirements
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
- Improve and maintain workflows for the Division Order Department
- Analysis of title opinions and ownership documents to create and maintain decks for operated and non-operated properties
- Ensure that division orders are timely sent out and payments are issued as prescribed by law (or contract)
- Confirm accuracy of division orders received from outside operators / purchasers
- Assist Landmen in due diligence, as well as curative matters required for receipt or issuance of payment
- Work with Accounting to ensure accuracy of records and assist with inquiries related to coding, decks, operator changes, etc.
- Manage owner inquiries and maintain relationships with royalty and joint-interest owners
- Identify and recover suspended revenue due to the Company
- Review Bankruptcy Notices for implications to the Company
- Maintain system addresses and tax ID numbers to facilitate 1099 distributions
- Assist with data conversions from third-party systems resulting from property acquisitions
