**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Management and Treaty Rights Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating fire management activities on treaty rights lands.
About the Role:
- Manage and coordinate fire management activities on treaty rights lands.
- Work closely with the Tribal Forestry Division to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of project progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry or Resource Management, or related field.
- Two-year Associate's degree in Forestry or Fire-related field, with a minimum of four years of supervisory experience in forestry or fire.
- Red card qualification as Single Resource Boss (CRWB, ENGB, HEQB, FELB).
- Incident Commander Type 5 (ICT5) red card qualification.
- Firing Boss (FIRB) trainee red card qualification preferred.
- Valid State of Montana driver's license required.
- BIA/Northwest Regional Office Safe Driver Approval required.
