About This Opportunity
The CSKT Tribal Health Department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Public Health Educator to lead our health education team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health education programs that promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health education programs for community members, including workshops, training sessions, and educational materials.
- Collaborate with community partners to identify health needs and develop effective solutions.
- Supervise and mentor health education specialists to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to program activities and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in health promotion, health education, community health, public health, or related field.
- Minimum two years working in a public health or community health setting.
- One year supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Community Health Education Specialist Certification preferred.
