The CSKT Tribal Health Department is seeking a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. As a patient account representative, this individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections in a medical office setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage patient accounts and maintain accurate records
- Process medical claims and resolve billing issues
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless billing and collection processes
**Requirements:**
- A minimum of an AA Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2 years of experience in medical billing and/or collections, or 5 years of experience in a hospital or medical office setting as a biller and/or collector
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory 6-month probationary period
**Benefits:**
- $17.38-$19.98 hourly rate, plus benefits
- May be employed under a contract
