Regional Category Manager Commercial Sourcing Americas

Reporting to the Associate Director, Global Commercial & External Affairs Sourcing, as the

• Regional Category Manager Commercial Sourcing Americas
• you will responsible for the execution of global category strategies across CSL Behring, CSL Seqirus, CSL Vifor, and CSL Plasma (CSL Group) to ensure best possible value for CSL while managing risk and maintaining compliance in sourcing practices within the Americas region. You will be directly involved in regional sourcing or bid activities, driving key projects, developing Supplier Relationship Management with partners, and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders internal to CSL Group and within regional vendor base. You will effectively take a "Center of Excellence" approach to sourcing projects across all Commercial categories as assigned. This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule.

• The Role :

Develop Plans aligned to CSL Global and Procurement Strategy_

• Execute against global, annual action plans for applicable region and categories based on the Procurement Strategy and other relevant business strategies within CSL Group (Behring, Seqirus, Vifor, and Plasma) resulting in the reduction of the total cost of ownership and risk, while increasing innovation, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and quality.

Establish and Maintain Effective Category Management and Bid Management_

• Drive value from the global category(s) by defining and implementing effective category management strategies within region; establishing and managing Councils for business-critical commodities aligned with the evolving business requirements and are effectively leading key sourcing activities, including negotiations, that to deliver lower cost of ownership, lower risk, higher quality, increased innovation, and better supply performance.
• Lead and / or support business negotiations and strategic supplier relationship management programs with major key suppliers and provide advice for regional sourcing as required.
• Conduct business with integrity in accordance with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and anti-bribery requirements. Supports diversity and inclusion by promoting utilization of small, disadvantaged and / or diverse suppliers.
• Monitor the market or external factors that would potentially impact CSLs sourcing strategy within assigned region.

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)_

• Establish and manage SRM processes with suppliers within the categories as per supplier segmentation, including risk management strategies in accordance with global policies, to enhance relationships and innovations with suppliers to deliver required supply, quality, service, continuous improvement, and innovation while minimizing costs for CSL. Develop processes to measure value beyond savings in line with CSLs values and Procurement strategy.
• Implement procedures to ensure execution of sourcing activities in compliance with CSL Sourcing Policy, Code of Responsible Business Practices, and all other compliance standards.
• Maintains relationships with key regional suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of goods / services that meet business requirements.

Supply Performance Management, including management of Key Performance Indicators_

• Responsible for monitoring Supply Performance KPIs and conducting regular Operational Reviews as per Procurements Governance processes with supporting analysis and reporting from the Centre of Excellence and ensuring any Category Management roles within the team also review and manage Supplier performance to meet agreed standards.

Manage Key Internal and External Stakeholders and Partners Relationships

• Build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver upon Procurements objectives by managing supplier performance, issues, procurement improvement initiatives and other broader business issues.
• Monitors and enforces compliance to the Global Sourcing and Procurement Policy.
• Serves as primary contact and coordinates activities with internal stakeholders to address operational issues.

Drive Innovation_

• Lead and participate in regional transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required to ensure the delivery of targeted benefits.
• Your Skills and Experience :
• Bachelors degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management preferred or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in strategic sourcing or relevant Commercial category experience.
• Relevant graduate degree highly desirable.
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry or related industry preferred
• Demonstrated success in contract negotiations and stakeholder management.
• Experience in a variety of Procurement systems and tools highly desirable.
