Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to implement, maintain, and own the Parenterals PCS/MES and PLC process recipes for the Fill/ Finish Value Stream. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Adhering to the global strategy by delivering and implementing required process control within DCS, PCS, MES, and PLC systems.
- Aligning the system with the Global Execution Systems approach in Manufacturing Operations.
- Taking technical project ownership for all Execution Systems related project deliverables, including oversight of contractors' work.
- Owning process recipe and configuration across Parenterals MES, PCS, and/or PLC systems.
- Tracking, remediating, and improving incidents associated with the Fill/ Finish Value Stream.
- Evaluating production equipment and machinery for reliability and efficiency.
- Modifying machine design to plant and production conditions.
- Cordinating and troubleshooting interfaces with Data Historian, Data Acquisition Systems, Building Management Systems, Central Alarm Management System, Manufacturing Control Network, and Enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 3 years of experience in Automation Technologies within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong communication skills, action-oriented skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in an FDA-regulated facility is preferred.
