The Role of Center Operations Leader
Reporting to the Center Manager, you will assume ultimate responsibility for the entire center's operations, including production, quality compliance, finance, HR, and IT, in their absence. This position is based on-site at our center in Rock Hill, SC.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
- Participate in data collection and analysis to maintain center quality, efficiency, and profitability.
- Collaborate with the center manager to ensure quality compliance by meeting company, regulatory, and customer requirements, safeguarding plasma purity and efficacy, donor safety, and employee well-being.
- Work with quality personnel and the QA team to develop corrective action plans addressing areas of deficiency noted during audits.
- E nsure the center and all employees comply with OSHA regulations, complete training, and maintain accurate OSHA records and reports.
- Employee recruitment, training, counseling, termination, and corrective action programs are managed according to HR policies, ensuring fair treatment of all employees.
- Support the center's marketing and advertising efforts.
- Up to 10% overnight travel may be required.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience is required.
- Minimum 1 year supervisory or leadership experience, overseeing the activities of a team or others.
Working Conditions
- You may spend 80% of your time standing/walking and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- May spend 60% of your time auditing, improving, and observing ongoing operations through the center.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogens is possible.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn while performing specific tasks in certain areas.
