Job Title: Control & IT Technician
Job Summary:
The Control & IT Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Manufacturing Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), field instrumentation, variable frequency drives, communication network systems, and HMI computer workstations in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review operator manuals, PI&D diagrams, mechanical and electrical drawings, and other established SOPs to ensure equipment and control systems are operated in accordance with established SOPs.
- Support CSL manufacturing, Maintenance, and Facility teams to maintain the production and utility system running.
- Collaborate with other CSL groups as well as outside contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies in new project development, installation, startup, and validation.
- Respond to inquiries related to desktop/laptop computers, applications, phones, hardware, and printers.
- Maintain and update records and tracking databases to record inquiries and resolution activities.
- Perform training and documentation of control systems, computer and printer operations, and standard procedures as needed.
