Job Summary
CSL Plasma seeks an experienced Medical Screener to join our team at our plasma collection center. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of plasma donations. You will be responsible for conducting screenings, verifying donor eligibility, and educating donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma.
Key Accountabilities:
- Screen donors, verify their eligibility, and refer them to medical staff when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to donor inquiries and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with Group Leaders and Supervisors to optimize donor flow and resolve any issues efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Working Conditions
- Frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogens.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment in specific situations.
- Occasional tasks performed while standing and walking up to 100% of time.
