As a Phlebotomy Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our plasma collection center, ensuring that all processes are followed accurately and efficiently.
Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and direct the work of phlebotomists, monitor inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of donations and production.
You will also be responsible for providing coaching and guidance to staff members, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise, and contributing to the development of overall center policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the work of phlebotomists.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of donations and production.
- Provide coaching and guidance to staff members.
- Address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) months work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
- Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation.
