Job Description:
The Maintenance Repair Worker plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our collection center. Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean workspace, performing minor repairs, and monitoring the surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clean and organize the workspace, including floors, furniture, and trash removal.
2. Clean windows and doors daily, and complete minor repairs as needed.
3. Monitor the grounds and parking lots around the center, removing any litter or debris.
4. Assist in recycling and repackaging of shipping materials.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Ability to see and speak with customers, and observe equipment operation.
3. Frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals and extreme temperatures.
4. Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing specific tasks or in certain areas.
5. Must be able to work overtime and extended hours to support center operational needs.
Work Environment:
This role is based in a fast-paced plasma donation center environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
