What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Quality Control Inspector position at CSL Plasma?
Ensuring Quality at Every Stage
We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at CSL-plasma.
This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our products from raw materials to finished goods.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Sampling and testing raw materials, components, and packaging materials to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Implementing a statistical sampling plan to assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conducting chemistry, microbiology, and physical testing of chemicals and components, and completing raw material records and releasing chemical/component lots.
- Representing the Quality inspection function on project teams and working cross-functionally with other groups to assess product and packaging according to set inspection criteria.
- Completing paperwork for problem materials and ensuring that the material is appropriately labeled.
- Documenting findings on batch documents and performing on-line quality inspections.
Requirements:
- One year of previous experience in inspection or a regulated environment.
- Computer experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar programs.
Working Conditions:
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
- Occasionally exposed to hazardous chemicals.
- Frequently required to wear personal protective equipment.
